In January 1989, the project of 25,000 tons/year synthetic ammonia and 40,000 tons/year urea was approved by the State Planning Commission and completed and put into operation in February 1993.

In June 1994, Meishan County nitrogen Fertilizer Plant initiated the establishment of Sichuan Golden-Elephant Chemical Co., LTD. In October 1995, the reform of property rights system was implemented, and state-owned assets were bought out by all employees to become private enterprises.

In April 1999, the introduction of foreign full-pressure method of 130 tons of nitric acid and 160 tons of ammonium nitrate per day was completed and put into operation.

In May 2003, Sichuan Jinsheng Sincerity Chemical Co., Ltd. was established as a joint venture with Wufeng Group of the United States. In December 2011, the whole was changed to Sichuan Golden-Elephant Sincerity Chemical Co., LTD.

In May 2006, Sichuan Yuxiang Melamine Technology Co., Ltd. was established as a joint venture with Beijing Edgein Technology Co., LTD.

In 2006, double pressure 150,000 tons/year of nitric acid (the introduction of equipment technology), pressure method 200,000 tons/year of crystalline ammonium nitrate, high tower granulation 350,000 tons/year of nitro compound fertilizer fully completed and put into operation, the first domestic "pressure process of ammonium nitrate neutralization", "melt compound explosion-proof high tower granulation nitro composite process" successfully developed.

In 2007, the world's first pressurized gas phase quenching method of 20,000 tons/year melamine project was completed and put into operation; The anthraquinone process of 60,000 tons/year hydrogen peroxide was put into operation;

In 2008, the first and fully domestic double pressure nitric acid device was successfully put into test; Independent integrated innovation "JX energy-saving urea production technology" successfully developed.

In 2009, the energy-saving and resource-saving pressurized gas phase quenching method 2* 50,000 tons/year melamine project was completed and put into operation, and the large-scale integrated technology "green process" was successfully developed.

Since 2009, in accordance with the development strategy of "relying on the technical advantages of urea, nitric acid, ammonium nitrate, nitro compound fertilizer and melamine with independent intellectual property rights, close to resources and close to the market in the national layout", it has built four production bases in Hengshui, Hebei, Shaya, Xinjiang, Hongze, Jiangsu and Fukang, Xinjiang in 10 years, and built a chemical equipment manufacturing base in Deyang, Sichuan.

In 2015, the slurry polyethylene catalyst production plant was completed and put into operation.

In 2018, the methanol to olefin catalyst project of 3000 tons/year SAPO project was completed and put into operation.

In 2023, 10,000 tons/year peracetic acid and 50,000 tons/year electronic-grade hydrogen peroxide projects will be completed and put into operation.

In September 2023, the global cyanamide carbon nitrogen material industry chain project with a per unit production of 100,000 tons/year was completed and put into operation.
