Blood is the source of life, an indispensable first-aid item in clinical treatment and medical emergencies, and a precious gift to unite the love of blood donors. On May 20, 2020, on this more meaningful day, the blood collection vehicle of Meishan Central Blood Station drove into Sichuan Golden Elephant again, and under the vigorous initiative of the company's trade union and Youth League Committee, many employees rolled up their sleeves, donated blood, and cheered for life with love.

At half past eight in the morning, colleagues who participated in blood donation came to the scene one after another to line up, and even some employees rushed back from other places to participate in this blood donation. At the blood donation site, inquiries, information registration, blood tests, blood collection and other links were carried out in turn, and all processes were carried out in an orderly manner under the coordination and arrangement of medical staff. There are some familiar faces who have participated in blood donation drives many times; There were also many fresh, unfamiliar faces who participated in voluntary blood donation for the first time.

The

atmosphere in the blood collection vehicle was also pleasant and relaxed, the blood donors talked and laughed, and everyone was proud and satisfied that they could contribute a little love to the society, and at the same time, they also diluted the tension of blood donation with laughter. The medical staff of the blood bank also informed the donors of the precautions after the blood collection, and provided milk and souvenirs.

A total of more than 40 employees participated in the blood donation, but due to the strict blood collection conditions, many of them could not participate in the blood donation because they did not meet the blood donation criteria: such as insufficient sleep, recent cold medicine, high myopia or lack of relevant documents. After more than two hours, the blood of 15 employees was successfully collected, totaling 5300CC. We use practical actions to fulfill the glorious obligations of a citizen, which reflects the sincere feelings and selfless dedication of Sichuan Golden Elephant people who are full of gratitude to give back to the society and care for the society. Meishan Central Blood Station spoke highly of the company's active participation in the cause of unpaid blood donation, and expressed the highest respect to the voluntary blood donors on behalf of the people who will be helped.
