On October 9, the 150,000 tons/year solid (porous) ammonium nitrate plant of Xinjiang Golden Elephant Sairui Coal Chemical Technology Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sichuan Golden Elephant, was successfully commissioned, and on October 14, the product quality reached the national standard HG/T3280-1990 porous granular ammonium nitrate excellent product standard. So far, Xinjiang Golden Elephant uses urea as raw material to produce melamine - nitric acid - ammonium nitrate (liquid, porous particles) - nitro compound fertilizer circular economy industrial chain has been formed. The project is an important part of the extension of the industrial chain of Xinjiang Golden Elephant's "100,000 tons/year melamine co-production 600,000 tons/year nitro compound fertilizer project", a key node for the optimization and adjustment of Xinjiang Golden Elephant's product structure, and the hope for sustainable development! At the same time, it fills the market gap of non-porous particulate ammonium nitrate in Xinjiang.

The project officially started engineering design on September 5, 2019, and on-site construction began on October 1, 2019.
